To share with you the multitude of diverse achievements, talents, and experiences leading to the gathering of our exceptional artisans and staff would require far more space than allowed here.  With only a brief introduction to each, let us say that all have been guided, in their own way, to join in this particular journey celebrating the beauty and creativity of Womanhood.

At the forefront of HeartWorks Designs are the Mother and Daughter team of Yvon Rucker and Joni Micals who live a mere 3 miles apart in South Carolina.  Surrounding them are wooded areas with meandering streams and pastoral views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. True serenity in which to dedicate oneself to wellness, creative beauty, and spiritual learning.

Dearest Yvon & Joni, from the rest of us, we thank and honor you both.

Yvon’s vision for HeartWorks Designs was to create a site from which to purchase exceptional wellness products and gorgeous arts, in addition to providing educational links and information for our visitors.  It continues to be her desire to make these affordable and readily available.  

This incredible website would not exist were it not for a year-long commitment Joni gifted us by way of her talent, insight, experience and long hours.  She gave lovingly, all the while maintaining her own business and developing her website, SynergyFormulas.com.

Yvon Rucker is a licensed Massage Body Therapist, Doctor of Metaphysics, Aromatherapist, Doctor of Naturopathy and creator of the Comfort and Well Being Collection of aromatherapy products.  She also is a distributor of some of the finest essential oils available.  Check out the links on our homepage for descriptions and ordering information.  Yvon’s fused glass and beadwork pieces are available throughout our collections.

Joni Micals is an instructor of reflexology and meditation.  As a Doctor of Naturopathy and the owner of Synergy Formulas, Inc, a national distributor of homeopathic and herbal supplements, she is at the forefront of alternative healthcare.  Among her offerings for purchase at SynergyFormulas.com are Homeopathics and Botanicals. There you will also find a wealth of free information and articles to supplement your own journey toward holistic health.  At her office in SC she offers Spectravison scanning…technological tools... She brings her years of counseling experience into the Wisdom Room where she shares the walk with clients on their path to well being. Her artistic spirit comes through in her amazing singing voice, beautiful glass works and wire-wrapped jewelry.

Jo Niblack owns Horsefeathers, a Bead Shop in Campobello, SC.  Her passion for beadwork began in 1965 when she learned the basics from a Native American woman.  In addition to other pieces throughout our collections, be certain to check out her awesome creativity available under the “Exotic Faces” link on our homepage. 

Peggy McMakin, of Tryon NC, an avid horsewoman, also enjoys bead work and quilting.
